I bought an iPhone 4 from a friend, and restored it using itunes and shift+click. Did I accidentally upgrade the baseband as well? (I have no idea what it was before)

alright so i didn't really figure out that i need to activate the phone again after using snowbreeze. i bought my iphone somewhere else and don't have the original sim. can i use a friends sim card to activate it before using the gevey sim?
