Ive been on both ends of the religious debate and I can honestly say I am much happier with constant thought and meditation on the subject. I absolutely hated the thought of a higherpower. Now Im no jesus freak or christwhore and Im definitely not perfect. I simply stated a fact. seems like you are the incompassionate one and you are on a high horse sir. Dont judge me. so you blame what corrupt governements did on the fact that the are mainly an theist country? thats weak logic for those who do no want to find their own beliefs. i am an atheist and i havent killed a single person and am a better person than most christians get off the high horse. its not the atheist populace that makes it bad its the corruption and the greed that do. If there were a truly atheistic nation out there then it would be more compastionate

@SlapFr33k Don't listen to the fire and brimstone-type Christians. That's not what being a Christian is about. People argue in favor of Christianity for the wrong reasons. Being a Christian is all about the idea of a second chance. We all have our flaws and we create many issues throughout our life that involve hurting others and causing harm in the world, and God forgives us for these things if we ask for his forgiveness. That's the reason to be a Christian.
