I mean, how hard is it to come up with your own hook, instead of "borrowing" one (and the title) from another song, especially one full of meaning, and turning it into something vapid?

I mean, the music's okay, but really, it just bugs me when people take a meaningful song and turn it into a vapid moneymaker "party" song. I mean, those songs are fun, but doing something like this is IMO kinda insulting to the original.
