Kids, if you see the door jangling, dont 'get closer'. go tell some adult for christ's sake! ...and when its finally broken open, there's this thing you do called.... SCREAMING!!
Try it. It could save a live! YOURS! Especially the running part, in fact, it works better than screaming!

This series was "ok"...nothing compared to the original series I watched as a kid.

Original kolchak was massive in Australia , i don't know why it was axed . I think the ratings are out of touch with what people are really watching . The new night stalker was very well done indeed

fox are so stupid for airing this series at the same time as older more popular shows. they should have promoted this more it could have been really popular. no wonder everyone hates fox

This series did not last that long. It was a shame since Gabrielle Union is HOT.
The new Kolcah was too dark and you needed a stronger actor.

Do you have the opening sequence for this that takes place before the title? It explains what happened leading up to the crime scene where the characters meet.

That section is called a "teaser," and this episode didn't have one. It starts as is. I could see why you'd think something was missing, though!

This episode actually has three minutes worth of intro before the title where this clip starts. It sets up the whole series and episode.
