    It is embroidery floss. I am not sure if Michael's carries it. You can usually find it at a fabric store.

    thanks for the instructions, very good. Please advise the best needle to work with when sewing with felt and embroidery thread.. I don't have sound so maybe you mentioned but I never heard ..thanks so much

    I just use a regular needle with a larger eye to accommodate the embroidery floss.

    Here's something strange but true, this is actually the stitch that they usually use to do sew in hair weaves, and this is actually the video that I showed my mom so that she could do it on my hair! LOL this helped her a lot!!
