can ida cloth be used on blanket stitch?

@xXNeoteonAngelsxX you could use the blanket stitch- however the cloth will most likely fray. You could treat the edge of the aida cloth with a product like Fray Check first- and then make the stitch around the edge for decoration.

What is that last stitch you make? It looks like a knot. Is this to end the blanket stitching? Seems an odd way to end!

@BeStrixed Yes- it is a knot to end the stitching. You should then hide the thread in between the fabric pieces, and clip off excess.
