Kris Allen & Adam Lamberts Today Show Appearance

Season 8 American Idol winner and runner up, Kris Allen and Adam Lambert, made a joint appearance on NBC Today Show on May 28, 2009 See photos and full video here of the interview and live performances which were a part of the Today Show Summer Concert series.
Kris Allen talked about his eight month long marriage and his wife, Katy Allen, who was present in the audience. Shes super cool, he said, in response to a question as to how she is dealing with her husbands American Idol victory.

Adam the Glam rocker addressed the persistent Adam Lambert Queen frontman speculation, the singer said, No I dont think so. I would love to sing with them anytime, though. That would be awesome but right now Im going to focus on my own recording career.

Personally I think Clay Aiken was jealous of Adam, and I think the singing voice/popularity was the least of it....but If I were him, I would be too. Adam had a very accepting family that allowed him to be himself, and Clay had a much more conservative family. It was much, much harder for him to come out, and even if he had been out, at that time it would have been far more difficult to become successful than it is now. TG the heat has cooled. Love them both.

WTH Clay just shut up. If so many professional music critics and musician agree that Adam have an amazing voice and singer, then why the hell does his one remark matters? He was a 'rocker' in AI, and a rocker, you'd expect to sing like that, with power. But of course he must be deaf not to hear Adam sing 'tracks of my tears', 'if i can't have you' etc which was softer and showed he can sing anything with his range

adam was so nice about that he handled that very well go adam and i feel bad for him that clay said that about him he must be really sad but jujst doesnt want to admit it
