this song could also be about the late Tommy Bolin.God, he was in so many great bands like James gang,Deep Purple,and did a lot of work with Billy Cobham,Jeff beck,and his solo stuff.He was a very giving person.Sadly he passed away from a heroin overdose,Tommy was still a kid with amazing talent.he was only in his early twenties when he left us,he was too young.

Sometimes i wonder how amazing this band would have been if chris had stayed with the pearl jam musicians and eddie would have found another band. I'm not saying pearl jam or soundgarden aren't amazing, but to me at least, the temple of the dog tracks laid down by chris and the pj boys were just amazing.
