On his final tour of Australia in 1994/1995, Mike Gatting struggled for form, but managed to make a ton in the 4th test at the Adelaide Oval. With a little help later from their battered bowling attack, England somehow managed to win the match.

  • Brilliant man Gatt doing great work with grass roots cricket. A true Englishman and fine attacking batsman and the second highest runscorer ever for Middlesex County Cricket Club. Great player of spin and was quite nimble for a big man Jabba!!

  • Remember watching it Live in all fairness he scored a double hundred in one of the warm up games. He was on 99 for about half an hour before he called Daffy for a suicidal single.
