For the record, the Goofy line wasn't true. It was a very bad joke. One so bad, I didn't believe that it could ever not be true until I looked it up. What was he thinking?
Just of interest, does anyone here have any other epiosdes of the show? I've all of a sudden become very ambitious to collect episodes of the show.
P.S. - I thought this WAS Clive's last show, but he did one more just over a week later on the 1st January 1988. This episode is Series 6 Episode 11 of 12.
This was the final episode of "On Television" Clive James hosted, Keith Floyd took over in 1988 and only went on till 1989, Chris Tarrant became host in 1990 and is still presenting it under the alternative title "Tarrant On TV".
