Really F**king sucks that this breed of lion are no long found in the wild. You can find a decent color photo of them in the wild anywhere either.

@shundymagundy In the time of the Romans, the original pure blooded (un-tainted) Barbary (Barbarian) Lions were so strong that Tigers and Bears couldn't even fight them. Tigers had to fight other Tigers nand Bears had to fight other Bears or each other. All the years of human contact and breeding and messing up the habitat killed then off.

There was only 2 other Lions bigger: The American Lion (The biggest cat ever) and the European Cave Lion. The Barbary Lion was 12 and a half feet long, but it was shorter in height. It was 4 and a half feet at the shoulder, but it was thicker in build. On average they were 620 pound, but have been knowne to get up to 685 pounds.

WOW, it's shocking to know people so stupid can even exist. So 5 Lions suddenly stand no chance against one Tiger because? And also, you fool, Tigers don't "Hunt Elephants." They never do. They will kill calves and young Elephants but do not actively hunt large elephants. Brown Bears regularly displace Tigers from their kills according to the Siberian natives. Suddenly a Jaguar, who weighs less than a big Lioness can kill a Male Lion? Get off the drugs dude, and come back down to reality.
