Here are all the special moves (including the "Danger Moves") in Viccom's Fight Fever, some with similar moves from other fighting games shown after them. If I'm missing a similar move from another fighting game, leave a comment about it.

Did you know that Korean fighter Kim Kaphwan from Fatal Fury 2 and several later SNK fighting games, was named after Kim Kap-hwan, the president of Fight Fever's developer, Viccom? Viccom was also SNK's Korean distributor (but not really part of SNK). When the Viccom staff got bored of just distributing games, they decided to try developing their own Neo-Geo fighting game, using some developing material and designers used by SNK with permission from them. They even used Masaki Usui (voice actor of Ryo Sakazaki and Haohmaru) as the voice actor of Fight Fever's final boss, Karate Kenji.

After they practiced developing Fight Fever, Viccom later developed the superior, but rare spiritual successor, The Eye of Typhoon, which was originally planned for the Neo-Geo, but was released for the 3DO and MS-DOS operated PCs instead, but exclusively in Korea.

For other similarities besides moves, Fight Fever's intro to Karate Kenji's battle is similar to the intro of Art of Fighting 1, where a picture frame shatters. It's also like the scene in Fatal Fury 1 where Terry/Andy/Joe get sent to Geese Howard. The letter's look was later used in The King of Fighters '94 and its sequels. Kang Baedal, Jhun Hoon, Lucky Glauber, Bobby Nelson (Aggressors of Dark Kombat) and Kim Jae Hoon (some probably) were inspired by Fight Fever's characters. Fight Fever's opening with Master Taekuk is similar to the intros of Fatal Fury 1 and 2. The mini games were inspired by the ones seen in the 1987 Street Fighter, as well as the ones in Art of Fighting, both created by specific employees who worked for Capcom and later, SNK. They might have also supported Viccom on their Fight Fever project.

Here is a video uploaded by a Korean showing only the Danger Moves being performed without knocking out the opponents:

  • SNK copy a lot of characters from Capcom, but they have originals characters too.

  • @FatalFuryRealBout Nearly everyone else does that, even Capcom and Data East. They take ideas that were already done and combine them with new ideas. Have you read this video's description?

And some of SNK's employees were ex-Capcom employees. Capcom's Street Fighter series is a Karate Champ arcade / Yie Ar Kung-Fu arcade hybrid with some elements borrowed/stolen from Galactic Warriors, Shanghai Kid, Uchi Mata and Street Smart.

  • Hmmm... one of the many minor vs fighting games, which are all blatant copies, blatantly copies other vs fighting games, especially THE first and most notable blatant copy (AoF).

I didn't need this video to believe it. ;)

  • @MasaruKato82 While Street Fighter copied both Data East and Technos Japan's Karate Champ arcade (forget the NES port) and Konami's Yie Ar Kung-Fu arcade (forget the Famicom and MSX versions). Ryo Sakazaki might be a blatant copy of Ryu, but they were both created by the same people who worked for both Capcom, then later SNK.

Some fighting games like Fight Fever are influenced by post-SF ones. For Fatal Fury 1 and Time Killers, they aren't blatant copies. They were developed at the same time.
