  • Strict, Yes, also Kind and Caring to no end. He gives each student what is appropriate for the individual & what he is asked to give...Karate is a journey to the same place for all, and we all take different routes to arrive there. The journey should foster (I believe) Humility, Kindness, Patience, & Dilligence. It should culminate with a pure Awareness of the importance of being good to others, to protect the weak, defend the innocent, & cherrish love. Karate: to find your way and love it.

  • I like this better than UFC... for sure.

  • Es un gorpo pelotudo!!!!!

  • Ikemiyagi Sensei's student (in some of the footage above) is opening a dojo in Roswell, New Mexico later this year. If you live close enough, you should visit. Well worth the trip.

  • What a bastard asian, lol

  • @Uminchuu well...have a nice time.no need to insult each other here.

    regards

  • @GIwillo ...His teacher is MY teacher too. Done with wasting time on you.

  • @Uminchuu wow...you are pretty hostile.i think in the end your message is much more insulting than my comment about the guy in the video, which was intended to criticize his teacher and not him.nice to see how the tide has turned.

  • @GIwillo For the record, I don't take youtube that seriously. I mainly watch it for entertainment value. But when someone such as yourself insults a friend of mine, I tend to get a knee jerk reaction, even though the best thing to do is just ignore such people as yourself. Sorry, my problem. Should have just ignored you. Your not worth anymore of my time. You can now go back to playing your video games. By the way, for the record, I'm a 'westerner' so I can 'judge' rudeness if I wish.

  • @Uminchuu okay.but you should not judge about (typical) western people either.as you said : don't judge people you have no knowledge of. :P

don't take youtube and your karate too seriously dude...

  • @Uminchuu ...or Easterner, for that matter. People who are hung up on the superficial and childish notions that you have to 'look a certain way' in order to be a 'true martial artist' , are the ones who should not be taken seriously. If you want to be taken seriously, then I suggest you give some serious thought to your words and actions before you follow through with them...or you can continue your way of doing things and keep inserting the proverbial foot in mouth. Good luck with that.

  • @GIwillo Jerk, being the operative word here. Don't comment about someone you have NO knowledge of. Wade more than earned his belt (not that a piece of cloth around his waist ever meant anything to him in the first place). The type of training he has gone through, most would-be martial artists would cringe away from. He's taken his lumps time and time again, and kept coming back for more. His knowledge, skills and HEART are unmatched, when compared to the average, typical Westerner...
