  • @soul0luos Light on Yoga is a fantastic book! Some others are... 1. Yoga Mala, 2. Ashtanga Yoga - practice and philosophy, and 3. Ashtanga Yoga - the practice manual.

Start slow and build your practice a little at a time. A steady drip of water will hollow out stone. In a world of uncertainty...this is certain.

  • Excellent, thank you. I am about to begin my own journey into yoga. If I am going to pursue Ashtanga/vinyasa, is it advisable to begin with Iyengar (I plan on picking up "Light on Yoga")? Also, I'm a rather introverted person; is it possible to learn at home using DVD's and books, as long as I am very exacting in form?

As an unrelated side note- your backpiece is very powerful, I aspire to a full horimono bodysuit myself (spiritual armor). Hope I didn't ask too much.

    Namaste, Jason-ji.
