Strap on a plastic guitar and brace yourself for a round of Rock Inferno! In our mash-up of pyrotechnics and video games, flames count more than points! After realizing that we prefer projector screens and USB controlled fire balls, we gave up the couch and headed to the workshop. 4 months of brain-melting ignition troubles and software battles later, it is finally time to Stop, Rock and Roll!

Please enjoy the footage of our debut at Burning Man 2010, presented by Camp Here. Don't hesitate to post questions/comments!

  • Great theme. Where will you be 2011?

  • @ThomDolby 6:45 and 1900 ft from the man (500 ft from Esplanade)

We'll be rocking every night from 9 til 2, Thursday is Experts Only Night :) Stop by and say hello!

  • Hey this is AWESOME!

I love Guitar Hero, I'm bummed I didn't see this! Where was your camp located?

  • @JeremyLouis04 Rock Inferno was at Camp Here, 4:30 and Guangzhou in 2010. We ran it from Tuesday to Friday. Don't fret, though. We'll be bringing it back in 2011, hopefully with better placement, and certainly with better advertising. Look for us in the What Where When.

  • Haha, Cliffs of Dover is definitely a crowd-pleaser, too bad Zoo Money is the only one of us who can play it :)

The project took about 4 months.

After defeating scheduling, NiChrome Wire and tank heating, things moved along pretty steadily.

We're still working on the tank heating issue, if anyone has suggestions we are all ears! To combat the pressure drop, we ran the system at a lower psi and switched the tanks out when they dropped down to 50%. Total usage was about 5 20# bottles
