so is there a difference between the bone claws wolverine and the metal claws version besides the metal claws version being faster?

junior5516 - Yes there are differences. Metal claw has speed up super, and can call assist in the air (before he lands) in a superjump after he does drill claw. Also, one of the Wolverine's can combo tornado claw after an air combo. Metal Claw also has the fatal claw air super. Bone claw is has a shorter hitbox. There are many more differences, but I am no expert on those characters.

@junior5516 I think bone wolverine is actually faster (aside from speed up super), but the differences I can name off the top of my head.

Can do air tornado claw.

down + fk is diagonal instead of straight down.

Able an action after ending a sj combo with drill claw.

c.forward does not trip

Can combo fierce berserker barrage after crouching Fierce.

Can do infinite mp, mp chain. (Metal can only do 3).

Takes more damage.

Can't do Speed up or Fatal Claw supers.

I faced VDO yesterday, let's just say I got my butt kicked xD not even my Plan B team (Wolvie, Bone Wolvie, Psylocke) could fight him, I only killed one of his Wolvies and then I got scrapped, I did pretty okay with Team BBX-Men (Cyke, Wolvie, Bulleta) epscially when I hung in there with Cyke but this guy is too fast o_O

yea I agree. A very well used Wolverine in mvc2 has more variety and creativity than the same boring air combo drill claw xx fatal claw Wolverine from mvc3.
