Dr. John Bull was a preeminent master of the keyboard during the golden age of music in Britain ( Elizabethan ). Like all In Nomines, the melody is taken from "Gloria tibi trinitas"; the antiphon sung at second vespers on Trinity Sunday ( the 8th Sunday after Easter ).
The sheet music for this piece can be found in the "The Fitzwilliam Virginal Book" vol. 1 # 37. My recording here is rendered using Wavelore's Clavichord VST for Digital Audio Workstations.
