Keep Myself Awake (Ten/Rose)

Inspired by a really lovely video to this alltogether lovely song made about Pirates of the Caribbean by the fantastic RheaBatz, who I spoke to ages ago about how fantastic it is.

Scary, I know.

Also, I'd really like to mention that obviously the black and white represents dreams/memories...but what I did with the lever scene and the wall scene is a bit less obvious. I decreased the brightness a great deal, to make it represent memories, but not -old- memories.

Ohhh I am very satisfied with the way this turned out. I really like it ;)

Alright. So. The Doctor and Rose are in thier parallel universes, and every night they dream of one another.

Well. They start sleeping more. Too much. So that it is practically all they ever do.

Finally, the Doctor realises "Oh, I've got Martha's phone, and with it I can call anyone in time and space! *attempts to call Rose*"

They talk for a bit.

Then...Rose is walking about...

...well. Wouldn't want to spoil the ending would I?

*evil laugh*

Really good video. I have a question, though. How do you make these? I mean, like, where do you get your clips, put them in order, and then put the music over it all? I can't seem to figure it all out

Well, first of all, you're going to need an editing programme.

Most computers have basic Windows Movie Maker, which is what I use, but there are some brilliant programmes out there that turn out really fantastic stuff.

Once you get into the programme, it'll be a bit self-explainatory as to how to add music and add and cut clips to fit the bits you want them to.

And the clips I get here on YouTube, but there are easier and faster ways (not to mention better quality) like DVD rippers.

I'm using Windows Movie Maker, but when I try to upload videos onto it, it says that the file is not compatible. All of my videos are .flv files. And advice?

Certainly.

.flv isn't going to work in Movie Maker.

You're going to need to go online and either find a converting website or download a conversion programme that can change the files to either .wmv or .avi.
