@hyperacti Although that would be absolutely amazing in my opinion, all of Derpy's character is essentially fan created. Because of this there are a thousand different opinions on how she should be portrayed. The best option is probably for the creators to keep do what they're doing, portray the most obvious and most common personality portrayed and not go very deep into her character. In depth portrayals of her should probably be kept in the hands of fannon. At least that's how I think of it.

Creators need to add more Derpy, but they need to portray her differently. Her character. She needs to be the "dumb-blonde" pony on the surface, but then the epic storyline comes along and shows that she goes much deeper than that and has a really strong soul. Soulpony that's ditzy. Like the 4-pane that portrays her finding Dinky abandoned in a dumpster. Derpy needs to be the character whose life experiences make you cry, but is still strong nevertheless, & blonde for lighthearted moments.

Wow, this fandom needs more musicians making happy songs. I've got plenty of sad songs but I'm missing more upbeat stuff like this!
