this guy as no Idea, what is going on in the world. They work from a country where they are born without conflicts and draw pretty picture. what this kind of guys dont know is the geo politics that surrounds Aisa/South Asia/India and how Nuclear Weapons keep the strategic and military balance between India and China, that had fought a border war. Dont bring pakistan here, Pakistan is just a Chinese propaganda, if you look and how pakistan got nukes , how it proliferated.

This guy is wrong. India is a peaceful democracy. They deserve to have nuclear weapons and they are leading the effort to develop Thorium nuclear power. I'm proud of them. Anyone that learns about energy with both eyes open knows that nuclear power is the only thing that will ever provide safe, clean energy to the entire planet indefinitely.

Also Pakistan is not at all a threat to India. Even the Saudi Arabia has a behind the scene hand to some extent in assisting pakistan , what they call Islamic Bomb, but the whole thing broadly boils down to Chinese strategy, which the pakistans dont understand. They dont understand, what their interests are, and as a neighbour, its a harsh reality to be friends rather then a pony of china

His thorium argument is complete BS. India is the world leader in development of thorium breeder reactors. He very well knows that the people who will agree with him are the weed smoking green party freaks who have no idea about nucelar reactors

Behind the change was crude pressure, blackmail and induced fear of "isolation" on account of antagonising the "emerging power" that is India. The topmost leaders of the U.S., India and their allies worked the telephone lines to mount this pressure.

Within the NSG, there was a great deal of resistance to the waiver. An earlier meeting of the group, on Aug. 21-22, failed to produce a consensus -- necessary for any decision to go through.

But everyone suddenly changed their mind.

Few minutes into his take, the obvious conclusion among dealers & shakers would be that he was an Idiot. The guy started talking about Theorium, but failed to disclosed the fact that INDIA is the only country with advance program in theorium. India itself went through this debate at home, but because Indian PM has the power to make international treaties w/o going through parliament, this deal is continuing. Had it been other way, This deal would have long been discarded for india's soverignty.
