@vvideoupl Nice! That is one of their better ones.

It is a Casio EX-FH100.

@vvideoupl Maybe something as simple as some standing sheets of plywood on the left and right side of your charge, so the camera can see the debris being thrown away from the blast. BTW, what camera did you get?

I was considering to do another one with 420fps but the resolution will be much lower. Maybe a 120fps with VGA resolution will make a better video than a 420fps at 224x168. I need to think of something to get a very dramatic footage at slow motion.

@vvideoupl your favourite^^ thanks

How about a shaped charge in high speed?

It can be done but I my camera isn´t fast enough to make a good footage of that. I think a 1 million fps camera is enough to show the creation of the jet.

Nice shock wave footage. Looks to me like you post detonation plume is really starting to take shape and get good elevation. Yeah I agree with comment below, the effect on some objects/targets would be nice to see with high fps, maybe even some objects being projected up and out of the hole.

You are right, next time I will try to put it beside a tree, rock, wood or any other stuff to get a better video. I have another 4kg charge pre-mixed of the same explosive so I think the next one will be with the same stuff again.
