The Buddy microphones connect to the computer via its USB interface. Buddy microphones are ideal for users who want good accuracy and do not want to wear a headset.
The Buddy Desktop, Buddy Flamingo and Buddy Gooseneck all have a strong output signal. This means we recommend they be kept at an optimum distance of 3-6" from one's mouth. You must face the microphone when speaking. Depending on the background noise levels, you can experiment with using this at greater distances. Just redo the Audio Setup when the distance to the microphone element and your mouth change significantly.

Great Microphones - they have recently released their 7G line of microphones with superior noise filtering. Ideal for speech recognition or anybody looking to get high quality audio while eliminating ambient background noise.
