My favorite Teddy P song!

@ESSENCEOFEACHTHING They were funkier than Motown. No disrespect against Motown. Motown was truly successful. Their biggest mistake was to not evolve their sound. Gamble and Huff did just that. Philly is just an all around soulful city anyway. If it ain't the record label, it's the artists. FRANKIE BEVERLY & MAZE? C'mon y'all!

this song live

@queeneastcoast Got that right!

It's official. Gamble & Huff are the baddest producers to ever grace this earth that we live on!

@oldschoolbx1970 HI DUDE, I UNDERSTAND YOUR FEELINGS: I STARTED SPINNING RECORDS IN '81 & MY FIRST RADIO NICKNAME WAS PHILLY DJ SINCE I HAD THE DOUBLE Ps ON EVERY TURNTABLE... I'M HERE SINCE I'M CREATING A TRIBUTE PLL FOR P.I.R. IT'S 4Ost ANNIVERSARY OF THIS LABEL REDUCED TO A WEB RADIO, STILL, STAY HAPPY, OK?

Today is the second anniversary of this brother's passing. That's why I'm here listening to this jam. Plus,I'm locking to it too. RIP Teddy. Your memory and legacy will forever live on and on.
lol PIR was definitely funky. Motown had its funky moments though. :)
