  • John, is this DADGAD guitar? Could you post me the chordal accompaniment? Regards, G

  • It is DADGAD but unfortunately I wouldn't know where to start writing it down. I don't think I've ever done it the same way twice. Anyway, it's not much more than a 3 chord trick. I'll Send you my illiterate mug's version of the chords.

Thanks very much for the missing words. I can now add this to my own repertoire. Thanks again

  • @osammyboy93 And now comes the springtime song of before, I've been on my travels, I've made up some more.

Iwas there last september ,back Annaghdown(village in galway) when the boat bringin people to galway went down

  • @osammyboy93

Sorry Sammy. No-one's come back to me on this. It's verse three that's the problem, isn't it? Plus a couple of words elsewhere. Will let you know if I hear anything.

Did you manage to fill in the gaps in the lyrics? If you have it complete could you help me?

Third verse: And now comes the springtime ?????????

Same verse: I was there last September back ??????????

    Apreciate any help

  • I found this a couple of weeks ago and got hooked. What I need now is the complete lyrics - I've got the Irish verse which is well-documented. I can make out most of the rest, but there are a couple of gaps. Can anyone help?

And, John, your accompaniment is great; I'm learning from you, here and on other excellent posts. Thanks

  • This is so beautiful. Thanks so much for posting it. Now....back to the guitar and try to figure it out!

  • Excellent as usual Eleanor & John.
