i'm trying to get the slash tone but i can't seem to get it with my vox and my mark tremonti PRS series. i'm using a boss metal zone anyway.
can anyone help me out with the setting of t he amp?

@289danny vox's arent metal amps by any means...if you're looking for smaller budget amps look at roland cubes, marshall mgs, ibanez tbx, or something of that sort. If you wanna spend $1k+ and get a JCM2000 with an overdrive pedal like mine though you can get a metal sound quite easily. But if not I recommend looking into those 3 amp lines.

@JoshWattsBlues Probably for the same reason all bass demos have to be demonstrated by funk-slapping.
