How mush does a J920 cost? Does anybody know? Thankful for a serious replay.

hihi i'm not mad or something.. Ge is claiming a lot but in real life its a little bit different. no i'm not working in bergen itself. working in the netherlands for RR bergen engines. bergen is normally a easy going company so a visit should not be a big problem

could anyone tell me how much does one of those cost???

Do we have anyother competitors to GE in this area, who do good work

The switchyard looks a bit on the small side, and only one transmission feed, i think the substaion and the feeders need a redesign

What's the cylinder bore on this engine?

they wish they claim to have a high efficiency but can't keep that. RR bergen engine's are able to keep it high. thrust me because i'm doing that job.

@jandeveld1 Hello, I am only reposting their marketing because that is all that is available. I did state 'claimed' efficiency! :) Are you working in Bergen? Our class is trying to arrange a visit to the engine factory there.

maybe around 200mm?

@jixodu Might be. GE hasn't released a lot of raw detail on the engine unfortunately. There are however papers on the two-stage turbocharging and the modular cylinder component assembly, both pretty short and concise though.
