With the new Keenan Mech-fiber Bale Handling System you can process all types of whole bales of forage with precision, accuracy and speed.
The Keenan Bale Handling system incorporates the new Keenan Bale Blend technology and the Keenan Bale Shear.
The Bale Shear uses the TANCO patented system for holding the net and plastic wrap whilst splitting the bale in half making it ideal for feeding round bales into diet feeders.
The fact that no knives are required to strip the plastic wrap off silage bales has huge safety advantages, especially when getting off the tractor. It can slice hay, straw or silage bales with ease.
The unique system of automatic plastic grab and bale split, using just one standard hydraulic coupling, makes it ideal for front loader use. Chopping the bale in half when loading into a diet/feeder-wagon makes for more efficient mixing and less wear and tear on the feeder
In keeping with Keenan's low energy approach to keeping vital forage structures intact, Baleblend™ effortlessly incorporates big round and square bales - silage, hay or straw - into the Mech-fiber® mix without damaging the core fibre or over-processing dry material.
The new precision engineered dropped tines allow more movement to the bale enabling the paddle catch the bale earlier in their rotation. The dropped tines allow forages to be distributed in measured quantities on to the top knife where it's is drawn down into the feeders mixing chamber
@RenzeZielman tanco make them for keenan. Tanco bought origional design of a farmer designer in north kilkenny.
