If you're like me, you probably thought this was a rather homely looking knife the first time you saw it. However, anyone who's interested in trying out Spyderco for the first time should check out the Delica. Once you hold it in your hand you'll see that, ounce-for-ounce, the Delica delivers the best value in terms of features, fit-and-finish, and price. My favorite Spyderco.

It features:
• length overall: 7 1/8" (181 mm)
• length closed: 4 1/4" (108 mm)
• blade length: 2 7/8" (73 mm)
• cutting edge: 2 9/16" (65 mm)
• hole diameter: 1/2" (13 mm)
• blade steel: VG-10
• blade thickness: 3/32" (2.5 mm)
• weight: 2.5 oz (71 g)
• handle material: FRN with stainless steel liners
• torx screw size: clip and body screws are T6, the Pivot is T8
• MSRP: $89.95

  • Nice review mate.I feel the same it looks ugly(endura is more handsome) but now i need a edc blade and delica4 looks like a great option. Its not very easy to whip out mr.endura4 in public LoL

  • Good review of this knife. I was just searching for data on the screws so I can move the clip on the new one I just bought. No instruction booklet was included and I didn't see anything on the Sypderco site (with a cursory check) that had a link to a downloadable owners manual. I will look in depth later. For now, this provided the info I needed. Thanks!

  • @theasdfghjkl11

get a spyderco salt 1. the steel has no carbon so it can't rust. and its the same exact size and shape

  • would this knife be good for like edc in a boatyard or other wet conditions

  • Very articulate review. How refreshing considering all the crap I had to sift through to find this...smh @youtube.

  • Fallkniven in Sweden use VG10 steel but im not sure if they made the blades in sweden or in Seki City. The baldes are not pure VG10 either on the Fallkniven Knives but rather laminted VG10 between 2 layers of 420J steel for lateral strength and corrosioin resistance.

  • I agree, the first time I saw the Delica I was revolted by the design. Learning more about knives, I grew to love the looks, and fully appreciate the value Spyderco offers. Great review!

  • i have a delica 4 with a serrated blade

  • would you recommend this version of the newer full flat grind version?

  • you talk kind of fast but good review keep it up
