@Zarizzle thnx yea this was our first 1 inch hoop we've been doing boiling water ever since. and the song choice was only because the video was a school project and those were the songs on the comp. so w.e

the reason you are having so much trouble putting your hoop together is because the tubing needs to be hotter. WAAAAYYY easier if you boil water and dip each end in the water for a few seconds. connecter slides in with ease. then do the same to the other side. EASY PEASY!
btw, song choice sucks HARD!

i bought tubing, and its shinny rather then your matte stuff, they said it was 100 psi 3/4" pvc tubing for plumbing, but it feels super hard... i made a hula hoop but worried that its maybe a different kind of tubing..

@MissInsanity666 Our tubing was pretty hard too, boiling is definently the way to go to soften your ends, if they say 100 psi 3/4 then it probably is i dont think shiny vs matte matters to much.
