Fiat Coupe 20v Turbo vs Corvette Z06 - Drag Race Santa Pod

Even though I just missed out on the win it was still worth documenting :) The Corvette Z06 is the latest and greatest in the long line of true American muscle. Packing a 7 litre LS7 V8 producing 505bhp, the Z06 will do sub 4 second 0-60 and 8 second 0-100!

So it's a blown 2 litre Italian Stallion FWD vs 7 litres of American Muscle RWD! Both our cars can do an 11 second quarter but too much gas off the line bouncing on the limiter leaves the Z06 ahead at the 60ft, 3rd gear starts to real him in but by this time it was too late and the victory goes across the pond :)

you would have a hard time to aquire a well sorted, adequately maintened 20v turbo for that money to be honest.

yes, they do exist, but many buyers who bought a cheap one ended up investing the same money again soon to keep it on the road. lets not forget, this is an eccentric, 10+ year old turbocharged car. you buy cheap, you learn your lesson later. low-mileage, well-maintained examples are increasing again, you'll be in the market for a good one for ~10k€, at least here in europe.

@ARD178 Wow buddy, ill say something. First of all, that is a fast Fiat, I won"t deny that. Second, a 12.4 is far worse than the Z06's potential; 11.6 (bone stock) which by the way is faster than what the Fiat ran in this video. Third, learn English.
