Upgraded the E-Revo to brushless power using the Novak HV Pro power system. This motor and ESC combo is incredible!!! The low-end torque is extremely strong. The E-Revo is not made to be a wheelie king, the CG (Center of Gravity) is low and centered to keep all 4 wheels on the ground. But this power system is so strong it can flip it on it's back in a second. But with proper throttle management, it's a totally awesome upgrade!

  • what do you like better novak brushless systems or castle creations brushless systems

  • @TopFuelRc - That question has many different answers. Because it depends on what you are using the power system for. Most of the Novak brushless systems are sensored. This means they are much smoother on low end power than an unsensored motor so they are great for crawlers, or anywhere you need smooth power. Castle motors are mostly unsensored but have huge power and can do 6S lipo. So they are both great for different things.

  • does it use tamiya connectors?

  • No. Tamiya connectors are completely unable to handle the power that current brushless systems put out. It melts them in half. literally. I use deans ultra connectors on most of my models.
