HE IS STILL GREAT. I SAW HIM RECENTLY, AT STAFFORD CENTRE ON HIS 86TH BIRTHDAY. HIS VOICE IS SO BEAUTIFUL. HE ANNOUNCED HE WILL RECORDING AGAIN. I'M SO HAPPY BECAUSE I WOULD LIKE SOME NEW SONGS I HAVE PLAYED THE CURRENT RECORDINGS SO MANY TIMES I'M TIRING MY SISTER WITH THE SAME SONGS.

Ray Price has ALWAYS been my favorite country singer, same with Jim Reeves. No twang for the sake of twang. Not afraid to use instruments and arrangements you won't find in a honky tonk but he can honky tonk with the best of them when he wants to.
