Know What You Did Last Summer is a 1997 American horror film. The film stars Jennifer Love Hewitt, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Ryan Phillippe and Freddie Prinze Jr. The screenplay was written by Kevin Williamson, writer of Scream, and very loosely based on Lois Duncan's popular novel of the same title. The film was followed by two sequels, I Still Know What You Did Last Summer and the straight-to-DVD release I'll Always Know What You Did Last Summer.

After Helen wins a beauty pageant, Julie (Jennifer Love Hewitt), Helen (Sarah Michelle Gellar), Barry (Ryan Phillippe) and Ray (Freddie Prinze Jr.) go out of town to celebrate. Returning in Barry's new car, they hit and apparently kill a man. They dump the corpse in the ocean and agree to never discuss again what had happened.

  • @SantoryuWazamono : Yeah, right. I should have noticed it. After all, people are driving on the wrong side of the street. Where I come from, people drive on the right side, so I didn't notice the oddity at first. :o)

  • @curious420 the video is mirrored to avoid copyright infringement

  • Why all that lateral inversion? And more importantly how did you do it - it wasn't part of the original movie. It was difficult reading the cast and credit list and all the print of the computer screens; we just had to do our best till the very last scene! Thanks for the upload all the same.

  • I watched this film b4 I read the book. I was confused when I read it, it had no Fisherman & didn't felt like a slasher. In the book, they accidentally ran over & killed a kid. Then one year later, the kid's teenage bro, Ben Willis knew everything that happened. Nobody died, it was just a thriller novel. In the film, Ben Willis is the one who gets run over and he's not a teenager. Then he fears the victims and kills them. It's a weird way to make a film based on a novel, but I still love da film

  • @SaveOne8 There is a part 2 and 3. But don't bother, I pretend that they don't exist and say Julie died in that shower room.

  • @fluffyeo123 cause the uploader had it backwards so the video wouldnt be removed.

  • I think the ending was just setting up part 2 because the shower door said I STILL KNOW. It was just showing that there will be a part 2 but they did it in a way we're not used to seeing.

  • @sqeewee1 I SO AGREE! NOTHING. With Barry being shot..UGH JUST EVERYTHING

  • his was a great movie! had a great ending, cast, and kills. I was only disappointed that SMG couldn't have been the survivor

  • @ErikaThinks1012011 or they could make it look like julie was dreaming or something. like if you remember the start of the second one the opening scene was something like that and it turned out Julie had fallen asleep in class and was dreaming..lol
