  • yes true :) - but what about clips being lo rez, that seems like a serious pain in the cheesehole to me :D

  • Apparently you don't do commercial work?

You can put together a pre-vis storyboard for the client without spending a dime on stock. Once they've approved it, *then* you purchase the stock you need, clip by clip, rather than guessing at what you might need.

In a full-time production facility, this is a very common workflow. Working with lo rez is no different than working with full rez clips.

  • this is just a commercial for art beats ! not a real tutorial ! lol nice one guys

  • You can do the same thing with *any* stock footage company, as many of them are moving to on-line examples. Even if they're not, you can build a static storyboard for the client.

The technique is applicable to any stock media provider, or several stock media providers.

We happen to prefer Artbeats product vs other products.

  • You might want to redo this tutorial, their web site looks completely different now. Took me a minute to get my bearings, but I downloaded a sample vid of a hummingbird and the footage is stunning! Of course, it has the Artbeats logo on the clip but this is not a big deal when doing a low-budget draft presentation.

Thanks for sharing this info :)

  • these clips are great just watching the clips you get ideas for making thousands of adds

  • The full version of Artbeats stock footage is extremely high priced for the home editing low budget stock footage user. But I'm guessing that's not your target audience?

  • maaan this video is really soo helpfull :-)

  • yes i agree :) thanx for ur comments, and nice tutorial :)

  • Good information. Thanks.
