You really need to upgrade your big lama with metal heads and the extended shaft. This works so good it is impossible to get blade strike!!!

thank you for responding so rapidly!! it sounds like i will be replacing my gear as soon as xheli gets the kits back in!! unfourtunatly they are out of alot of big lama parts!!

So brushless is the way to go then huh?Is it hard to install for a beginner if you never had a heli apart before?I'm thinking about doing this but i'm fairly new and don't wan't to go taking things apart,lol

@PeytonQB Thanks for asking. You will eventually have to repair your heli due to crashes or just usuage, so think of it as a jumpstart when installing the twin brushless kit. Having said that, there is NO SOLDERING involved. You will need a hexdriver set and a small screwdriver set. We provide instructions with plenty of pictures to install this unit properly. We have sold many units without too much installation problems.

WOW !! to brushless motors and the 7rtfheli conversion kit....i got my heli back from you guys and i amazed at the performance of my big lama(AWESOME !!!) for all big lama lovers this upgrade is a must...its like coax on steriods....thanks a lot guys...i am gonna send my walkera 400D soon for brushless upgrade. i give 7rtfheli an A+ for excellent service and fast shipping.

Has anyone seen the NEW lama body styles? Green and black and Red and white very modern and easy to see at dusk! Out of stock at every shop! Amazing how the popularity spiked on this model again??

Saw the two new style all body canopies. They look great and refreshing for this nice low cost heli. Spare parts for these canopy styles are hard to get. Haven't seem on sale as a spare part. Will let you know if we see some.
