Bleem GT2 on Dreamcast

Bleem running Gran Turismo 2 on Sega Dreamcast. My first video EVER. Just got TV Tuner and program to edit today. No microphone so I'm actually talking into the one side of a headphone set plugged into the mic in!

why everybody says that graphics are better on DC than PS1 and PS2? how could it be? i dont see anything dif

@Lordcamilo2 Ever played an N64 game on an emulator and turned up the resolution so it looks sharper? The resolution is higher, everything looks sharper esp lines, the edges of the cars and road. Also the texture mapping is more accurate when looking across a texture. PS1 was bad for that anyway. Might not be easy to tell on these videos but side by side on a TV it's easy. You can go into the PS2 settings and turn on smooth textures for PS1 games and even they look a little better on PS2.

If you already have GT 2 for the playstation 2 i guess you also have the playstation 2 console why would you want to play it on the dreamcast?

@phads77 GT2 was for Play-station not PS2. Some people might have wanted the game but didn't have a PS1. Plus the graphics are improved playing on the DC.

how i miss the dreamcast days... too bad it didnt stay around long enough for bleem to catch on. It was an amazing concept at the time. SEGA should have never made the dreamcast able to play burned games without a modchip. Even though, I think the PS2 would have still caused its downfall in the end.

Sega didn't purposely build the DC to play burnt games. It has forms of copy protection inside. Infact if you straight up copy a game (that would fit on a CD) it wont run. There is a special boot loader put into the burnt games you download. But yeah I guess they didn't try hard enough!

i love gran turismo2 ....best GT no doubt...only downside was the constant annoying tire screeching...btw tires sliding dont sound like that SONY !!!!

@theretrogamerno1 LMFAO bro, the Dreamcast operates on a Hitachi SH-4 processor; which is 32bit. Not even today's ultra high end gaming computers run on 128bit, but no more than 64bit.

Marketing men got the 128bit from it's GPU - Power VR - and a 128bit GPU isn't anything out of the ordinary; it's still not truly a 128bit system.

The funny thing is Bleemcast! is so incredibly rare now, that keeping it unopened, or buying a second copy to keep unopened, would be worth more today.

Its impossible tosee on this vid but the anti aaliasings heaps better and I think the res maybe better, esp with a VGA cable. This answers not so much for you but anyone with the same question.

@Lordcamilo2 is because the DC console was more powerful and had more skills to play better the difference is that most games are no longer manufactured but imagine that they had made​more games with the technology now would be better than ps2
