I agree, in UK the highline superb is just 5 k more expensive than the E series compared to india where the difference is almost double .

Merc, Audi, BMW seriously rip 3rd world countries off because of their brand image. I bet Skoda too is gonna start up this bullshit once they establish a foothold in India

@bnCOD not exactly. The Superb is a D-segment car, which means it would compete with the C-klass, but the equipment level and size are so good, that it also unoficialy competes with the E-klass. Also reliability is at E-klass level. A mid range E-klass and a top spec Superb are equals in every way on paper, and then the Superb falls short. Because while it may be a bargain, you can't spec it to the level of an E-klass, so its close, but not close enough. But maybe the next model will be :)

Well it's quite hard to find out which class of the cars is comparable with the Superb. It's very long, extremly spacious, the interiori's quality and montage is on good level. It gives a feeling of a prenium class (like E-Class, A6, 5 series). The handling and noise level is also like a prenium-calss one.

However the optional ecuipment and engines variety have some missing points.

Why? Audi might have lost clients.

@tuolumne9 you're right, the skoda superb is actually slightly larger. Either way, the Passat is larger than the C-Class, especially in the rear seat. Of course, the Passat is a FWD nose heavy car, so it isn't as quite sporty, but it's still a nice car for what it is.
