  • Added to My Favorites,Hubert Sumlin is one of the soul survivors of classic blues with Buddy Guy and B.B. King. Its sad to say that they are leaving us soon but get out there and discover and go to their concerts. These guys will be playing till the end of day. They have too much pride and joy for what they do.

Kids, time to learn. What you are hearing over the pop station in your local city is 99% untalented, autotuned 'musicians'. Its time for you to listen to what music is really about.

  • ~R.I.P~ Mr. Sumlin :(

  • @hungerstriker27

joe is a guitar player titan... but sumlin is a legend... the real blues titan

  • i´m a joe´s fan, but speaking of blues titans, sumlin, this man was the guitar of howlin wolf, u know, cream, hendrix and 1000 legends more were his fans. rip mr sumlin

  • Man.. I am truly blessed to have shared the stage, and even life itself with a being beyond description as Hubie Sumlin.

If everyone treated everyone else like Hubert Sumlin treated EVERYONE, we would all live forever. He was THAT good. Good in every way!

The drivin' riff after SOTOTW is incredible. Man, I sat and cried...really.

Still, to be a friend to Hubert is to be a friend to life, itself.

  • Here's to brighter days for you Hubert, RIP
