video shows audio to midi control using midiAudioToCC VST plugin from excellent "piz midi" package. routing is shown as well (pc users have to use "midi yoke" instead of IAC bus).
piz midi also includes midiSimpleLFO to automate *any* midi mappable knob/fader with LFO in similiar fashion.
you can change [poly] aftertouch into midi cc/note then into movement as well. also midi program changes (not supported by live) can be converted respectively. that can be done via midiConverter3 from the same package.
.... so I am basically trying to run Ableton as a slave. But first need it to hear the click / tempo track from the Line-In port.

I know this may seem dated to follow-up on, but I've been spending the past 24 hours trying to achieve a goal, here..
My objective is take take a click track (in this case, the Korg DS-10+ software from a Nintendo DSi XL) & have Ableton acknowledge it, the way this video would imply..? The VST is running, it seems to behave accordingly, but I just can't articulate to Ableton how to get it to recognize / hear it & sync, accordingly.
Am I correct in the understanding of this plug-ins purpose?
