More than 20 years since the discovery of the AIDS virus, and despite huge advances in the prevention and treatment of the disease, AIDS is still decimating communities across Africa. This is the story of one such community.

  • The PM of Kenya, Raila Odinga is from Bondo, what is he doing for his people?

  • There is no doubt that AIDs is real, there is only a need to stop questioning when there is no evidence for it. This video is evidence that AIDs is a terrible reality and instead of questioning it we need to try to find answers to prevent and eventually stop it.

  • Kill em all let god sort em out.

  • When first infected with HIV, you may have no signs or symptoms at all, although it's more common to develop a brief flu-like illness two to four weeks after becoming infected.

    Fever

    Headache

    Sore throat

    Swollen lymph glands

    Rash

Even if you don't have symptoms, you're still able to transmit the virus to others. Once the virus enters your body, your own immune system also comes under attack. The virus multiplies in your lymph nodes and slowly begins to destroy your helper T cells

  • this is an eye opener for those who still think that aids doe not exist.thank for this project.

  • It is customary to want to get your freak on.

  • Sad, very sad. I agree with Wilfredlehn that there has got to be a way to disapprove of the myths that people believe in. In addition to having AIDS awareness campaigners, it would do good to identify champions of the cause; young people with a firm stand on practicing safe sex and avoiding the pitfalls that come in engaging in customs like wife inheritance. There is also a need to bring AIDS testing closer to the people so that it's no longer a financial proposition for them.

  • Accurate understanding disproving myths and leading to behaviour change is the only promising preventive measure. Extinction of several lineages is an undesirable reality! Lets all do our rightful share of actions to turn back the waves.

  • those island men are having a good time with the local woman so they dont want to believe in AIDs only their customs.
