Limited Edition PlaySEGA Joypad
Cost: FREE with PlaySEGA 3 Month Subscription ($14.95, but you have to pay shipping for the Joypad)
Verdict: Don't Buy for the Joypad alone
The face buttons you can change, but, there's no START button. Labeled as such is the "Select" button. The D-Pad acts as the Left Stick, which means it can work with say, Little Big Planet, but without a right arm.
Its neat for collectors/SEGA fans.
***DOES WORK AS A USB CONTROLLER
***No Start button
*No Home/PS button
*Not recognized as having a D-pad
*Not recognized as a controller to Play PS2 games.

nice review! I got a pair of them when PlaySega was up as i had the feeling that it wouldn't last long lol. I use it as a plugnplay joypad on pc/mac Actually i'm using it with Spiral Knights and it works wonder! I had no idea it would work on PS3! Too bad about the start button

@SuperStarSiro I'd use it a lot more often with my PS3 if it was start, infact, I'd be my controller of choice for MK and a couple of other fighting games. PlaySEGA itself is currently down (hacked I think) and will probably stay down for a long time.

@Sonicwalter1 They don't? Bummer. Its nice just to have it/that it exists. Its no the best controller, but it does the job well enough.

I wonder if it is still functional now?

@RRadRussian The pad still works, but I honestly haven't used it a lot or even played anything other than the new Mortal Kombat since a tourney is coming up.
