After a few years we finally got our hands on a couple GNU Carbon Credits. It's the board in the GNU line that replaced their CHB (Carbon High Beam) series.

While some of us have ridden it before we were eager to see how it did with all levels of riders considering it has most of Mervin's technology at such an affordable price. We'll for the most part we loved it. Watch the video for the whole story.

  • Every review I watch the boards score above a 90!

  • @PowderpuffPuncher We put the best ones up on YouTube.

  • Just finished the review. Very, very good review! I've watched a number of reviews and this was the most professional, eloborate I've seen. I typically see more like..overviews/quick 1-minute reviews of things and this was great. I especially like reviews done on the mountain rather than in their shop.

  • @EverythingisFire Thanks, you should check out our channel. We have a selection of our top reviews there. Plus, when get our new site out you'll see tons of reviews, all done on snow with real riders.

  • Hmmm...Just heard of this board. I was set on a K2 Raygun but I like this too. Any advice? This season is off to a lackluster start, I really wanted an all-mountain board because I wanted to ride powder well(have never ridden it) and I'd like to learn to do tricks off of jumps. Love carvings too

  • @EverythingisFire We tested the Raygun and it got a 90 Shred Cred. It was one of those boards that got high marks from 2 riders and got so-so marks from 2 others.

Mike gave it an 85, while Luc gave it an 94.

You'd probably be happy with the GNU CC, but in this price range and based on the riding you want to do, take a look at the Arbor Formula and Forum Destroyer DD. They are great boards. If you can spend more, also check out the NS Proto CT.

  • I love this board. This has been a tough season here in New England, riding ,mostly hard-packed, icy conditions and the edge on this board will let you cut through anything with ease.

  • How is it on the steep groomers. The thing i don't want is a real squirrelly board on the steep groomers. Have a park board but looking for a good all mountian as I finally experience the West. I'm looking at this and the Ride Berzerker in Wide

  • @BoardInsiders

Where can I find the K2 raygun review?

  • @BoardInsiders

I watched 4 or 5 others afterwards haha. Subscribed! Apparently, I have seen one of your videos a while back before but it was an older one at a trade show or something. Really short, didn't think much of it.
