  • The only argument I have seen is peoples fear that in some cases instead of trying to revive a person thats an organ Donner they will let them pass away so they can use the organs to save more lives. Its a really really weak argument. But hey oh well.

  • they cant even legally check if you're a donor until you're legally dead

  • THAT WAS MY DAD'S IDEA!! :)

Make Organ donation the standard, and only IF someone fills out a form, they won't be.

They only arguments against organ donation are religious, or completely stupid. I'm a full donor too.

  • its a personal decison my friend. i will not donate. i work in an icu and played part in soo many organ harvest . ive witnessed many over zealous coordinators lie to and take advantage of a bad situation plus its a money game alot of insurances dont cover it hell i even took classes on being a coordinator watch them harvest 1 time and ur mjnd will change

  • Honestly, sir, no one can take a legitimate argument against this video because your bias oversteps every boundary.

And I quote "stupid religious argument".

    Unbelievable.

  • it's not about logic, it's about your parent's feelings. they see you brain dead but breathing and get you back "dead". it's about being there when the machines are turned off. it's not logic, it's emotions.

  • Some of you are misinformed. Almost every state in the US has their own OPO (Organ Procurement Org). Each work works a little different, but there are some things that do not change...The OPO pays for the entire donation, There are no mounds of paperwork...just sign up at your DMV or online. Your organs are not taken out of your body after death unless you are donating, having an autopsy or crossing US borders in some cases. Having a <3 on your license does not affect life saving efforts. ETC

  • Paper work? I just put my signature on a paper or two for my ID card today. :3

  • One argument: human beings are selfish. Even in death. (this is partially a joke btw)

Besides it's not a Simple problem, it's because once you die, you technically lose your right as a human being and your parent's or your partner's say have more weight in the decision process.

So even in your process, even if you had signed all the paperwork about you donating all your organs, if your parents say NO to it after you die, we have no right whatsoever to donate your organs!

  • @wederchen So your going to not donate because of the very small chance and I mean very small chance that it may be given to someone that you disprove of. Convicts are so low down on the list that they are unlikely to receive an organ.

  • ok so would you want your organs to be put into a murderer's body? and yeah raising your voice and appearing all dominating makes you sound like an idiot

  • So does your co-worker not plan on being embalmed then?

Interesting ideology to risk getting buried alive over.
