Mario Kart DS Freeze Glitch

EDIT: had to use AudioSwap due to copyright claims by Green Day.

This is how to freeze Mario Kart DS: (this can be done in any mode) choose Luigi's Mansion circuit (it's part of the Mushroom Cup), the drive until you see the first staircase, and while ON it, keep pressed A + B, and then press left or right on the D-pad, and the game will freeze. This can be done with ANY Kart and ANY character. This glitch was fixed in later versions of the game, so if this doesn't work for you, the it could be because you have a newer version. I personally have version 1.0, and I dn't know in which version this was fixed.

It is possible to access a debug screen in some games thst involves freezing the game, but it doesn't work with this particular game. Basically, just freeze any DS game and input the following: hold L, R, Left and A, release; hold L and R, release; hold Start and Select. You will get ann error screen with info useful for developers.
