@taniacello87 Thanks for that very interesting comment. It is a tragedy!!!

He is the best ever... and it is SOOOO sad, that this season could be the last for him in such ballets like Nutcracker and Giselle. He said- he is 38 now, and once comes a time to stop to dance 17-jears old princes.. :(( Respect.
But what is really terrible- stupid direction of Bolshoy disturbs him now to dance all what he can and want in his last 'classical' season! Why? Because he tells the real truth about 'restauration' of the theatre. Result- he wasn't invited to the opening ceremony!!!

Simply bliss!

He was made for slow motion! He is extraordinarly graceful and has a serpentine quality, especially in that curving, sinuous use of his arms! Great upload - thank you!

Who says humans cannot fly ? Nicolai can

it is the passion and musicality he possess that brings us a lot of joy ! and that matters a lot !

Nikolai is a marvelous dancer!!

He looks like a pansy, and he dances like a pansy, too. Only Denis Matvienko and Leonid Sarafanov can be soft and strong at the same time. Fernando Bujones could, but he is no longer with us, sadly.

i dont understand why he is so famous.. he has very nice lines but he lacks cleanliness in many steps... he is overrated in my opinion... nice use of body and very elegant, but sloppy... i prefer sarafanov, matvienko gudonov :P
