Concerned About Global Warming

Jacob Meisel, 14, a freshman at Staples High School in Westport, Conn., won a speech contest Dec. 17, 2009, sponsored by Westports two Rotary Clubs.He competed against two other Staples students, each of whom had to integrate the Rotary four-way questions into their remarks. The questions ask Is it the truth? Is it fair to all concerned? Will it build goodwill and better friendships? Will it be beneficial to all concerned? Meisel, who won a $500,check, spoke about climate control. He advances to the semifinal round Jan. 24 at Fairfield University.
