since the characters look almost identical to gundam seed and seed destiny, it seems like some real life movie biz where the person plays a role in a movie and a different one in another movie. like tom hanks as forrest gump in forrest gump and as jim lovell in apollo 13

@Belwaer He's not very good with this kind of thing as you can tell. He's one of those artists that doesn't have a large reserve of different faces, hair, eye etc.

I realize that the same person designed the characters in both this and Seed... but did he have to make everyone in Fafner look like they're related to someone in Seed?

@BringerOfD No i havent finished it yet, but no there will be no Kira hijacking or SHINN! shouting or Athrun bleeding affeminitely thats for sure. albeit the girls do get a bit emoish but the focus is the battles with the heavenly festum. Kinda reminds me of Eva

@BringerOfD Yep thats cause character design is by Hisashi Hirai, designer for Seed and Seed Destiny. Tow Ubukata (penned stories for Chaos Legion) is about as different from Chiaki Morosawa as you get. The story is haunting and the mechs are obviously not gundam, the effects and art design are one of a kind, melding cg with lush cell drawings. must see i reckon
