Was in Falklands in '95 when the aircraft tug went u/s - solution? Get the Foden in to tow the Hercules - it did it easily!

@mdb81 if you were a reccy mech theres no way you would say flat tow! There isn't a legal limit on fodens. You can pull loaded Oshkosh's with them....just!!

@pimpUK1 Flat tow (straight tow) is all wheels on the ground, Suspended tow is with front or rear wheels lifted.
try doing some research before telling me i'm making stuff up, i used to run one when i was in the army

@th3hutch fuck that lol!! can't say ive been that brave, I've done 80mph on the M1 with the help of the hand throttle running solo. Tires get a bit too hot, around 10 years ago someone had a blowout on a foden and killed a person/people if I remember correctly. I know he ended up doing time for it.
