ROCKET BOY ROGER

Winner of numerous awards including The Royal Television Society Award for best Undergraduate Film (2003)

Directed by Russell Holliss & James Robinson, Rocket Boy Roger is the tale of a lonely young boy who dreams of escaping from his empty life. Ignored by his shopoholic Mother & bullied at school, Roger finds he has but one friend -- Rocket Boy -- a comic book character who fuels his imagination & inspires him to embark on a fantastical adventure to the stars!

The film was shot in early 2003 by a 2 man crew and a few favours, we eventually spent about £250's on the film (mostly on a few expensive props we never used and taxi fares). Then in 2005 we arranged for an original score to be composed.

The film was broadcast on British Television several times in 2005 & 2006, and was reviewed by the Head of the BBC Mark Thompson.
