I believe it does unless he gets some incentives. the cubs would love to get at least half of his salary off their payroll. That 10 mil could resign Pena or help with any free agents.

What's wrong with Byrd's contract? It's not even bad and he was an all-star in his first season. He's a FA after the 2012 season. Oh and to answer your question about why Soriano plays LF instead of 2B is because he was a terrible 2B. Even though he's bad in LF, anyone that knows anything about baseball knows that defense is more important 2B than LF. LF is a power a position.

Nothing. Im saying the cubs have spent alot of money and havent got much back. Hes had a good cubs career though and ok thank you. I was alittle young to remember that haha. Yes i agree 2nd is way more important, turning double plays =, starting double plays and all the footwork involved

This video is about 12 minutes too long. I've been a Cubs fan for 50 years. This team does not need Carlos Zambrano. The Cubs have bent over backwards working with CZ to work through his previous anger problems. You don't abandon your team. Time for the Cubs to give this prima donna his walking papers. He's proven he's not a team player.

I agree with you but as long as he will have to be with the cubs next year he might as well be useful to himself and as i think the comment in harsh i agree with you about how he needs to be a team player
